Real Estate, Renting and Business Activities decelerates
RERBA posted a 6.9 percent growth in the first quarter of 2017, slower than the 8.7 percent growth recorded in the previous year. The growth was driven by Renting and other business activities which grew by 10.4 percent as compared with 17.2 percent in the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, Real Estate accelerated to 6.5 percent as compared with the 4.8 percent growth recorded in the previous year. Likewise, Ownership of Dwelling sped up to 3.0 percent from 2.6 percent growth in the first quarter of 2016.
