Census on Agriculture and Fisheries-Information System
PRIVACY NOTICE
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is committed to protect the rights of data subjects in the conduct of the 2022 Census for Agriculture and Fisheries (2022 CAF). The PSA collects information from individuals pursuant to Section 25 of Republic Act (RA) No. 10625 (Philippine Statistical Act of 2013). Based on RA No. 10625, all respondents are obligated to provide the required data. The information collected shall be kept strictly confidential and shall not be used for purposes of taxation, investigation, or regulation.
The CAF-Information System is the system used by an Enumerator to access the EN Application in the Tablet to conduct Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI) in the households. The Team Supervisor (TS) uses the same system to access the TS Application to conduct CAPI among incumbent barangay officials. The EN App and TS App require regular network connectivity to PSA Servers for periodic synchronization of data, security, and patches.

The PSA collects and processes the following data:
- Name
- Home Address
- Email Address
- Mobile Number
- Telephone Number
- Age
- Marital Status
- Education
- Sex
- Operator (crop, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, and fishing activities)
- Incumbent barangay official
**How We Collect Data from You**
The PSA collects data through the face-to-face interview and encoding of the information in the CAF IS Tablet Application.
**Why We Collect Your Data**
The 2022 CAF is conducted to provide information on the characteristics of barangays and households in the fisheries and agriculture sector. The information will constitute the bases for policymakers and planners to formulate their plans and programs for the socio-economic development of the country.
**How Your Data is Protected and Retained**
The PSA safeguards the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal information physically and/or electronically by maintaining a combination of organizational, physical, and technical security measures based on accepted data privacy and information security standards such as access control, acceptable use, firewall, and end-to-end encryption.
Pursuant to RA No. 10625, the PSA ensures that the information collected will only be used for purposes related to Philippine Statistical System. No personal data will be disclosed to any government or private persons unless consent is given by the data subject, or when the disclosure is authorized by law. Further, personal data shall be retained and stored by PSA for as long as necessary for the purposes.

As data subjects, have rights provided under the law such as the right to be informed, object, request access, correct, and erase any of your personal information on reasonable and lawful grounds, subject to limitations as may be provided by law.
