Call for Entries for the Nationwide Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Jingle, Logo, and Tagline-Making Contests on 26 October to 11 December 2020

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is pleased to announce its nationwide Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Jingle, Logo, and Tagline-Making Contests to create an extensive awareness and familiarity on the CBMS in line with the pertinent provisions of the Republic Act No. 11315 or the “Community-Based Monitoring System Act.”

The said contests are in congruence with the celebration of the 31st NSM with the theme “Bridging Digital Gaps: Making Information Available to All”, and are to be spearheaded by the Community-Based Statistics Service (CBSS), an interim unit under the Censuses and Technical Coordination Office (CTCO).

The winning entries will be used in CBMS promotions, advocacy, and campaigns to solicit wider support, and cooperation from all concerned sectors in the community, and in the government.

The contests are open to all amateur/professional Filipinos and other interested parties residing in the country. Employees of the PSA nationwide are also qualified to join the contest. All contestants below 18 years old must submit a parental consent to be able to join the contest.

The winners of the contests, who will be selected on the 3rd week of December 2020, will receive the following:

CBMS Jingle-Making Contest Cash Prize of PhP 50,000.00, and a Plaque of Recognition Cash Prize of PhP 5,000.00 for the 5 runners-up
CBMS Logo-Making Contest Cash Prize of PhP 20,000.00, and a Plaque of Recognition Cash Prize of PhP 2,000.00 for the 5 runners-up
CBMS Tagline-Making Contest Cash Prize of PhP 10,000.00, and a Plaque of Recognition Cash Prize of PhP 1,000.00 for the 5 runners-up
