The Compilation of Industry Statistics on Labor and Employment (CISLE), formerly known as Philippine Industry Yearbook of Labor Statistics, has been developed in response to the need for comprehensive and accessible labor, employment and related statistics for industry monitoring and analysis.  Topical in approach, this compilation contains 14 sections of time series data on employment, labor cost, wages, labor productivity, hours of work, occupational injuries, occupational diseases, labor standards enforcement, unionism and collective bargaining, strike/lockout cases, economic performance and industry performance.

The 2017 CISLE is the 19th issue in a series that presents the latest available data mostly with 2012-2016 as reference period.  An explanatory note is included at the beginning of each section that provides clarification on the data source, data coverage and terms and definitions that will guide users of the data.
