Annual rate of CMRPI in NCR increases further in November 2020

The CMRPI in NCR continued its upward trend as its annual rate moved up at a faster pace of 1.7 percent in November 2020, from its annual rate in October 2020 at 1.4 percent. Meanwhile, the CMRPI in November 2019 was posted at 0.5 percent. (Tables A and 2)

Higher annual increments during the month were observed in the indices of carpentry materials at 1.4 percent; tinsmithry materials, 2.9 percent; and miscellaneous construction materials, 1.6 percent.

The rest of the commodity groups retained their previous month’s annual growth rates. (Table 2)
