The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in coordination with the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur conducted its 14th Special Consular Mission to render a One-Stop Shop government services to undocumented Filipinos who are working in Sabah Palm Oil Plantations. Assistance on birth registrations, PhilSys Identification (PhilID), and processing of Philippine Passports were provided during its series of 10-day consular missions.

During the last two consular missions in Sandakan and Lahad Datu, Sabah, a total of 10,046 transactions were served consisting of Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) verification and registration, registration to acquire PhilID, Report of Birth, and Philippine Passport services. A total of 1,659 Filipinos were verified to have negative records of COLB in PSA. For the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), a total of 2,807 Filipinos were registered to acquire their PhilIDs.

The PhilIDs were also received by Filipino workers in Sabah who have previously registered in PhilSys since its first consular mission in 2022.
