The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has successfully registered over 91 million Filipinos to the National ID system, nearing its target registration of 92 million by the end of the year.
As of 22 November 2024, a total of 91,130,320 Filipinos have already registered to the National ID or 98.9 percent of the target registration.
“The registration of over 91 million Filipinos is a significant milestone of the National ID system. This would not have been possible without the dedication and perseverance of our registration teams who consistently extend National ID services to the public,” said PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General. “As we inch closer to achieving the target registration for the National ID, we intend to continue providing opportunities for Filipinos to register with ease and convenience.”
In Agusan del Sur, house-to-house registration was conducted in Bayugan City. Residents successfully registered to the National ID during the one-day activity were senior citizens who had mobility difficulties.

In Palawan, the PSA offered National ID registration as part of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP)-spearheaded celebration of the Indigenous Peoples (IPs) Month and 27th Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) Commemoration in Puerto Princesa City. Through the activity, IPs from the Batak and Tagbanua tribe were able to conveniently register to the National ID system.

Efforts to register children ages 1 to 4 also continue through the Rehistro Bulilit campaign.
In Catanduanes, Rehistro Bulilit was conducted in the municipality of San Miguel. To help the kids feel at ease during registration, coloring books and crayons were provided.

PSA also partnered with institutions to provide opportunities to more Filipinos to register to the National ID system.

PSO Abra registers students of Layugan Integrated School in the municipality of Bucay.
In Abra, National ID registration was set up at Layugan Integrated School in the municipality of Bucay. The initiative allowed students to conveniently register to the National ID system within the school premises.

PSO National Capital Region II registers University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman professors, students, and personnel to the National ID system.
The same is true for professors, students, and personnel of the College of Law, and College of Social Sciences and Philosophy at the UP Diliman, who were able to register to the National ID within their respective colleges.

PSO Davao del Sur brings National ID services such as registration to students of Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao in Davao City via GCash KYC On-The-Go.
In partnership with GCash, the PSA brought National ID services to schools and barangays through the mobile wallet service’s community events. Here, participants were able to avail of services such as registration, ePhilID issuance, and assistance in downloading the Digital National ID. The ePhilIDs issued and Digital National IDs downloaded during the activity were presented by participants in opening their GCash accounts.
The PSA has so far participated in three GCash KYC On-The-Go events: Bulacan State University in Malolos, Bulacan; Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao in Davao City, Davao del Sur; and Cebu Technological University in Cebu City, Cebu.
PhilSys Registry Office Deputy National Statistician (DNS) Rosalinda P. Bautista called on all Filipinos to register to the National ID system.
“Though we have successfully registered the majority of the population, we continue to encourage Filipinos who have yet to register to be part of the National ID system,” said DNS Bautista. “Rest assured that we will keep National ID services such as registration accessible and inclusive for all.”
