The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has successfully registered over 91 million Filipinos to the National ID system, nearing its target registration of 92 million by the end of the year.

As of 22 November 2024, a total of 91,130,320 Filipinos have already registered to the National ID or 98.9 percent of the target registration.

“The registration of over 91 million Filipinos is a significant milestone of the National ID system. This would not have been possible without the dedication and perseverance of our registration teams who consistently extend National ID services to the public,” said PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General. “As we inch closer to achieving the target registration for the National ID, we intend to continue providing opportunities for Filipinos to register with ease and convenience.”

In Agusan del Sur, house-to-house registration was conducted in Bayugan City. Residents successfully registered to the National ID during the one-day activity were senior citizens who had mobility difficulties.
