There are no changes in the Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC) during the 2nd quarter of 2020. As such, the total number of regions, provinces, cities, municipalities, and barangays in the country remained the same with the PSGC updates as of 30 June 2020.

The latest number of regions, provinces, cities, municipalities and barangays is shown below:

The compilation and updating of the PSGC is a collaborative effort of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and its interagency Technical Working Group on Geographic Code (TWGGC) composed of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Commission of Elections (COMELEC), National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA), and the Land Management Bureau (LMB).
