The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) continues to ramp up its online Step 1 Registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). From the 16 registration centers across 13 provinces as of 24 May 2021, additional 219 registration centers across 21 provinces are now open for  online appointment for Step 2 Registration since 12 June 2021.

“We are glad to announce the opening of  online appointment booking for these additional registration centers to accommodate more Filipinos who want to register to PhilSys.  In the coming weeks, PSA targets to make more areas  available for online appointment booking,” said Assistant Secretary Rosalinda P. Bautista, Deputy National Statistician of the PhilSys Registry Office of the PSA.

Online registrants who reside in select cities and municipalities with PhilSys registration centers in the following provinces may now visit https://register.philsys.gov.ph to register and book appointment schedules for their Step 2 Registration:

  2. La Union
  3. Pangasinan
  4. Isabela
  5. Bataan
  6. Nueva Ecija
  7. Pampanga
  8. Tarlac
  9. Zambales
  10. Quezon
  11. Albay
  12. Camarines Sur
  13. Masbate
  14. Antique
  15. Capiz
  16. Iloilo
  17. Negros Occidental
  18. Bohol
  19. Cebu
  20. Negros Oriental
  21. Leyte

By booking an appointment through the PhilSys registration site, residents from identified cities and municipalities may schedule a visit to their preferred registration center for Step 2 Registration, which involves the capture of biometric information and validation of demographic data. The online Step 1 Registration for additional registration centers offer 18 June 2021 as the earliest date for an appointment.

Online booking of appointments is part of PSA’s strategy to ensure that a manageable number of registrants visit a registration center at any time during operating hours, in compliance with health and safety standards of the Department of Health (DOH) and Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF). PSA strongly advises the registrants to follow their chosen schedule to avoid problems with their registration.

As of 12 June 2021, a total of 235 registration centers are open to serve Filipinos nationwide.  Step 1 Registration is open nationwide via the official PhilSys registration website. Booking appointments online for other areas will be available in the coming weeks as more registration centers open.
