The POPCEN logo has its corresponding interpretation.
Five-person figure – represents the average household size of five persons per household based on the 2000 Census of Population and Housing (Census 2000)
Line sloping upward – portrays the population figures, in graphical form starting with the 1903 census up to the 2010 census; the slope also represents the projected population figure
House – symbolizes the basic unit of enumeration – the household
Lines forming the roof rafters – depicts the 17 regions in the country
Three-line roof ridge – represents the three main island groups of the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao
The logo has been used since Census 2000 and carries the interplay color combinations of fuchsia pink.
