1. The average retail prices of a kilogram of well milled rice, ranging from PhP 0.08 to PhP 2.91, declined in nine trading centers during the first phase of October 2021 (01 to 05 October 2021), from their price levels in the second phase of September 2021 (15 to 17 September 2021). (Table 1)
2. Increases in the average retail prices of a kilogram of pork with bones rose by PhP 3.38 to PhP 20.00 in five trading centers during the first phase of October 2021. However, its average retail price per kilogram went down by PhP 14.00 to PhP 27.63 in four trading centers during the period. (Table 2)
3. Changes in the average retail prices of a kilogram of bangus between the first phase of October 2021 and the second phase of September 2021, ranging from PhP 1.27 to PhP 19.48, were observed in nine trading centers. (Table 3)
4. At the retail trade, prices of vegetables decreased in many trading centers during the first phase of October 2021. (Table 4)
5. Declines in the average retail prices of a kilogram of red onion, ranging from PhP 0.18 to PhP 11.76, were seen in five trading centers during the period, from their price levels in the second phase of September 2021. Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram went up by PhP 5.40 in the National Capital Region (NCR), by PhP 10.00 in San Fernando City (Region 1), and by PhP 30.00 in Calapan City. (Table 5)
6. Prices of a kilogram of calamansi went down from PhP 2.50 to PhP 24.52, in five trading centers during the first phase of October 2021, from their price levels in the second phase of September 2021. On the contrary, its average retail price per kilogram picked up by PhP 0.70 in Iloilo City, by PhP 3.57 in Pagadian City, and by PhP 20.00 in Butuan City during the period. (Table 6)
7. The average retail prices of a kilogram of brown sugar inched up by PhP 0.20 in NCR, by PhP 0.46 in Calapan City, and by PhP 2.13 in Digos City. Its average retail price, however, fell by PhP 0.63 in Butuan City. (Table 7)
