1. Increments in the average retail prices of a kilogram of well milled rice, ranging from PhP 0.11 to PhP 2.90, were observed in four trading centers during the second phase of April 2023 (15 to 17 April 2023) compared with their respective price levels in the first phase of April 2023 (01 to 05 April 2023). However, its average retail prices per kilogram went down by PhP 0.05 in Legazpi City and by PhP 3.25 in Tuguegarao City during the period. (Table 1)

2. The average retail prices of a kilogram of pork with bones climbed by PhP 3.00 to PhP 25.00 in eight trading centers during the second phase of April 2023. On the other hand, its average retail prices per kilogram fell by PhP 10.00 in both Cebu City and Butuan City during the period. (Table 2)

3. Relative to their price levels in the first phase of April 2023, declines in the average retail prices of a kilogram of galunggong, ranging fromPhP 4.57 to PhP 35.00, were noted in seven trading centers during the second phase of April 2023. Meanwhile, its average retail prices per kilogram increased by PhP 5.00 in Digos City, by PhP 10.00 in Legazpi City, by PhP 20.00 in Cabanatuan City, and by PhP 25.00 in Tuguegarao City during the period. 4. Many trading centers posted lower average retail prices of vegetables during the second phase of April 2023. (Table 4)

5. Varied changes in the average retail prices of a kilogram of red onion, ranging from PhP 7.50 to PhP 24.00, were registered in nine trading centers during the second phase of April 2023. (Table 5)

6. The average retail prices of a kilogram of calamansi increased by PhP 2.50 to PhP 20.00 in seven trading centers during the second phase of April 2023. However, its average retail prices per kilogram decreased by PhP 2.00 in the National Capital Region and by PhP 14.50 in Baguio City during the period. (Table 6)

7. The average retail prices of a kilogram of brown sugar dropped by PhP 0.19 to PhP 3.00 in four trading centers during the second phase of April 2023. On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram climbed by PhP 0.26 in Tuguegarao City during the period. (Table 7)
