1. The average retail prices of a kilogram of regular milled rice declined by PhP 0.07 to PhP 2.00 in five regional centers during the second phase of July 2021 (15 to 17 July 2021), from their price levels in the first phase of July 2021 (01 to 05 July 2021). On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram picked up in Baguio City, Legazpi City, and Kidapawan City. (Table 1)
2. Decreases in the average retail prices of a kilogram of pork with bones, ranging from PhP 0.22 to PhP 20.00, were noted in seven regional centers during the second phase of July 2021. Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram rose by PhP 10.00 in Tuguegarao City during the period. (Table 2)
3. Changes in the average retail prices of a kilogram of galunggong, ranging from PhP 8.67 to PhP 20.00, were observed in eight regional centers during the second phase of July 2021. (Table 3)
4. On the average, retail prices of vegetables increased in many regional centers during the second phase of July 2021. (Table 4)
5. Varied movements in the average retail prices of a kilogram of red onion between the second phase and first phase of July 2021, ranging from PhP 0.89 to PhP 20.00, were seen in seven regional centers. (Table 5)
6. Increments in the average retail prices of a kilogram of carabao mango, ranging from PhP 3.90 to PhP 40.00, were recorded in five regional centers during the second phase of July 2021. Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram dropped by PhP 0.50 in Cebu City and by PhP 5.00 in Butuan City during the period. (Table 6)
7. Relative to their price levels in the first phase of July 2021, the average retail prices of a kilogram of brown and refined sugar both went up by PhP 0.12 in the National Capital Region (NCR) and by PhP 0.13 in Baguio City in the second phase of July 2021. (Table 7)
