1. The average retail prices of a kilogram of special rice went up by PhP0.13 to PhP3.80 in five trading centers during the second phase of March 2022 (15 to 17 March 2022) compared with their price levels in the first phase of March 2022 (01 to 05 March 2022). Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram during the second phase of the month moved down by PhP0.20 in Iloilo City, by PhP0.81 in Butuan City, and by PhP2.92 in Kidapawan City. (Table 1) 2. Compared with their price levels in the first phase of March 2022, the average retail prices of a kilogram of pork with bones declined by PhP3.05 to PhP10.00 in four trading centers during the second phase of March 2022. On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram rose by PhP5.00 in Iloilo City and by PhP25.00 in Kidapawan City, during the period. (Table 2) 3. Lower prices of a kilogram of galunggong, ranging from PhP10.00 to PhP45.00, were recorded in six trading centers during the second phase of March 2022. Its average retail price per kilogram, however, inched up by PhP3.84 in the National Capital Region (NCR), by PhP30.00 in Cabanatuan City, and by PhP35.00 in Kidapawan City. (Table 3) 4. Price increments in tomato, ranging from PhP5.00 to PhP45.00, were observed in 13 trading centers during the second phase of March 2022. (Table 4) 5. Decreases in the average retail prices of a kilogram of red onion, ranging from PhP2.50 to PhP50.00, were reported in eight trading centers during the second phase of March 2022. (Table 5) 6. The average retail price per kilogram of carabao mango dropped by PhP1.16 to PhP40.00 in five trading centers during the second phase of March 2022. On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram during the period scaled up by PhP5.00 in San Fernando City (Region 1) and by PhP17.50 in Legazpi City. (Table 6) 7. Relative to their price levels in the first phase of March 2022, the average retail prices of a kilogram of refined sugar inched up by PhP0.62 to PhP12.20 in six trading centers in the second phase of March 2022.
