1. The average retail prices of a kilogram of well milled rice climbed by PhP 0.08 to PhP 1.02 in five trading centers during the second phase of November 2022 (15 to 17 November 2022), compared with their price levels in the first phase of November 2022 (01 to 05 November 2022). On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram went down by PhP 1.00 in Digos City and by PhP 5.27 in Tacloban CIty during the period. (Table 1)
2. Increases in the average retail price of a kilogram of dressed chicken, ranging from PhP 1.92 to PhP 25.00, were noted in six trading centers during the second phase of November 2022. However, its average retail price declined by PhP 4.50 in Digos City, by PhP 10.00 in Tuguegarao City, and by PhP 20.00 in Batangas City. (Table 2)
3. The average retail price of a kilogram of bangus declined by PhP 0.53 to PhP 40.00 in seven trading centers during the second phase of November 2022. Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram inched up by PhP 7.50 in Baguio City, by PhP 10.00 in Kidapawan City, and by PhP 20.00 in Cagayan de Oro City. (Table 3)
4. Higher retail prices of vegetables were reported in many trading centers during the second phase of November 2022. (Table 4)
5. Average retail prices of a kilogram of red onion increased in 13 trading centers, ranging from PhP 25.00 to PhP 114.00, during the second phase of November 2022. However, its average retail price per kilogram was lower by PhP 20.00 in Tacloban City during the period. (Table 5)
6. Price decreases in the average retail prices of a kilogram of mango carabao, ranging from PhP 2.45 to PhP 40.00, were observed in eight trading centers during the second phase of November 2022. On the other hand, its average retail price per kilogram accelerated by PhP 17.50 in Cagayan de Oro City and by PhP 45.00 in Cabanatuan City during the period. (Table 6)
7. The average retail prices of a kilogram of brown sugar rose by PhP 0.50 to PhP 18.25 in seven trading centers during the second phase of November 2022. Meanwhile, its average retail price per kilogram went down by PhP 2.25 in Butuan City during the period. (Table 7)
