The Provincial Statistical Office of Bukidnon inaugurates a Civil Registration System (CRS) Serbilis Outlet in Malaybalay, Bukidnon on 22 December 2021. Most common civil registry documents issued by the said Outlet include birth, marriage, death certificates, and certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR).

The inauguration started with a holy mass, followed by ribbon cutting ceremony which was graced by the presence of Honorable Florencio T. Flores, Jr., City Mayor of Malaybalay and Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Janith C. Aves, Regional Director of PSA Region X. A short program then took place where a series of keynote addresses were delivered. Other guests who attended the said activity were the Chief Statistical Specialists of the five provinces in Northern Mindanao, Jude Andre Versoza, Learning and Development Specialist of Unisys Managed Services Corporation and City/Municipal Civil Registrars of the twenty-two local government units in Bukidnon.

Further, Atty. Paul Vincent G. Villegas, Provincial Legal Officer and OIC-Provincial Administrator delivered a message on behalf of the Provincial Governor of Bukidnon Hon. Jose Maria R. Zubiri, Jr. “I would like to commend you for your dedication and commitment for public service. In this momentous event, the province of Bukidnon is proud to be launching this project as I am”, said Governor Zubiri. He also extended his gratitude to the Philippine Statistics Authority and all the committees involved. Hon. Florencio T. Flores, Jr. then conveyed his message, “It is not the outlet that is important, but the service that is being rendered by the outlet. And we are very happy that this is being located in the City of Malaybalay.” In addition, OIC PSA Regional Director Aves also pointed out that “The people of Bukidnon will no longer travel to Cagayan de Oro City. We are now bringing the services closer to the people of Bukidnon and other neighboring provinces..”

A press conference was held afterwards facilitated by Philippine Information Agency of Bukidnon. Queries include overview of CRS, price of civil registry documents, appointment system, persons accommodated per day, Batch Request Entry Query System (BREQS), and other civil registration-related concerns.
