The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) extends the deadline for the submission of entries to the 35th National Statistics Month Media Awards (NSMMA). Entries may be submitted until 12 August 2024.
This year’s categories and minimum requirement are the following:

1. Best Statistical Reporting in Print/Online Media | At least three best news articles published in printed newspaper or in online news platform. |
2. Best Media Statistical Infographic | At least three best statistical news published in the form of visualization and/or infographic |
TV Program | |
3. Best Statistical Reporting in TV Broadcast Media | At least three segments/ documentaries aired on television |
Radio Program | |
4. Best Statistical Reporting in Radio Broadcast Media | At least three segments/ documentaries aired on radio/tele-radio |
Open Category | |
5. Best Media Advocate for Statistics | An article/data visualization/segment or documentary published in print/online, or a report broadcasted on television/ radio/tele-radio with reference to statistical data of PSS that has made significant impact that influenced lawmakers to create a new/change policy or has a catalyst effect to people. |
The coverage of entries to be submitted must be during the period of August 2023 to July 2024.
Interested national and local private including freelance media practitioners can apply or be nominated by accomplishing the respective form provided on this link: https://bit.ly/35NSMMediaAwards_NominationForms. Forms are also available for download in the PSA website (https://psa.gov.ph/nsm/announcements/35th) for submission via e-mail, in person, or through courier not later than 12 August 2024, 5:00 PM to NSM Media Awards Secretariat through:
