The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) brought Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) services at the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) during the Office of the President (OP) Family Week celebration at the Malacañang.

PSA personnel in BPSF

Offered from 02 to 03 December 2023, PhilSys registrations and ePhilID issuances were made available by PSA personnel for OP employees who can also invite one member from their families. Total attendees reached an estimated 4,000.

The BPSF was conducted alongside Lab4All, which provides free laboratory tests, consultations, and medicine, and Kadiwa ng Pangulo, which allows consumers to access affordable goods from farmers, fisherfolks, and small businesses. All of these are projects championed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Marie Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos.

Other government services were also featured at the BPSF, including civil registration document requests processed by the PSA, passport applications accepted by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), processing of drivers’ licenses by the Land Transportation Office (LTO), membership assistance by Pag-Ibig, issuance of clearances by the Philippine National Police (PNP), and benefit claims from the Social Security System (SSS), the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).

OP employees registering

“The PSA is delighted to join the OP Family Week celebration, made meaningful for the OP employees and their family members through the availability of various services, including those offered by PhilSys,” said PhilSys Registry Office (PRO) Officer-in-Charge, Deputy National Statistician Fred S. Sollesta, who was present at the BPSF.

“We thank the Honorable President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Marie Louise "Liza" Araneta-Marcos for allowing us to register the attendees and provide them with ePhilIDs, which they can present as valid proof of identity and age in their transactions,” OIC-DNS Sollesta added.

Meanwhile, walk-in registrations are welcome in registration centers nationwide. See the full list of registration centers at https://philsys.gov.ph/registration-center/ and the accepted supporting documents at https://philsys.gov.ph/supporting-documents/. PhilSys-registered Filipinos may also check if their ePhilID is already available for claiming at https://appt.philsys.gov.ph.
