29 May 2024 – DIGOS CITY, DAVAO DEL SUR.  The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) officially launched the 69th CRS Outlet in Digos City, Davao Del Sur located on the 2nd Floor, Digos Center, Rizal Avenue, Digos City, Davao Del Sur.

The activity began with the Thanksgiving Mass and Blessing of the CRS Outlet presided by Rev. Fr. Joel R. Codilla. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by Officer-In-Charge (OIC) Deputy National Statistician Clemente S. Manaog, MNSA, of the Civil Registration and Central Support Office; Engr. Marizza B. Grande, Assistant National Statistician of the Civil Registration Service and the concurrent Project Director of the CRS-ITP2; and OIC Regional Director Randolph Anthony B. Gales of the Regional Statistical Services Office of Region XI, together with the officials from the Provincial Government of Davao Del Sur represented by Atty. Johari G. Baña, Vice Mayor of Digos City; Atty. Herbert R. Gonzales, Provincial Administrator; and Mr. Julius James Delos Cientos, Political Officer.

This newly inaugurated CRS Outlet will cater to the requests for copy issuance of civil registry documents i.e., Certificate of Live Birth (COLB), Certificate of Marriage (COM), Certificate of Death (COD), including issuance of certificates such as Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR), Advisory on Marriages in Security Paper. Under the upgraded system of the PSA through the CRS-ITP2, new services which include Viewable Online, DocPrint, Certificate of No Death Record (CENODEATH), and Advisory on Death will be available in the CRS Outlet.

Prior to the opening of the CRS Outlet in Digos City, the residents of Digos needed to travel for hours to Davao City where the available CRS Outlet is. Now they can request their civil registry documents within their reach. 

The Online CRS Appointment System will be implemented thereto, hence transacting clients must book their appointments free of charge through appointment.psa.gov.ph before proceeding to the CRS Outlet.

With the commitment of the PSA to bring civil registration services closer to the Filipinos, more CRS Outlets will be established nationwide.
