The Provincial Statistical Office of Zamboanga Del Sur inaugurated another Civil Registration System (CRS) Serbilis Outlet in Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur on 01 March 2022. This is the 44th CRS Outlet that will cater clients and accommodate requests for issuance of civil registry documents in security paper from Zamboanga del Sur and nearest provinces. Most common civil registry documents that will be issued by the said Outlet include birth, marriage, death certificates, and certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR).

The inauguration started with a holy mass, followed by ribbon cutting and the blessing ceremony graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Leslie Bataoel, Honorable Samuel "Sammy" S. Co, City Mayor of Pagadian City, and Chief Statistical Specialist Bernardo C. Martinez of PSA Zamboanga del Sur. A short program then took place where a series of keynote addresses were delivered. Other guests who attended the said activity were Honorable Maphilindo Q. Obaob, Vice Mayor of Pagadian City and other officials and employees of the City Government of Pagadian City and PSA Zamboanga del Sur.

Mayor Co delivered his message to the Pagadianons and the Officials and Employees of PSA Pagadian City. He also expressed his gratitude for the support and effort of PSA Region IX-Zamboanga Peninsula led by Director Mewchun WS. Pamaran. He added that the office of Department of Foreign Affairs in Pagadian City will be completed soon which will allow a one-stop-shop to the Pagadianons in acquiring their civil registry documents and passport.

A press conference subsequent to the opening ceremony was facilitated by Public Information Agency of Pagadian City discussing the overview of CRS, price of civil registry documents, and other civil registration-related concerns.
