This is to warn the public of posts in a Facebook page about annulment and marriage blocking.
The blocking of marriage is an illegal act and PSA does not condone such unlawful undertaking.
A person who has already contracted a marriage and such marriage has already been duly registered at the concerned Local Civil Registry Office which subsequently provided a copy to the Office of the Civil Registrar General will constantly have a record of marriage in the PSA archive and database. Even when a marriage has already been declared judicially null and void, or annulled; will still be reflected in the Certificate of Marriage Record (CEMAR) that will be issued by the PSA.
A person who has not yet entered marriage, or whose marriage has yet to be registered at the concerned LCRO or a copy of such marriage record has yet to be received by the PSA, will be issued Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR).
Any CEMAR or CENOMAR not yet consistent with PSA records are spurious documents. Perpetrators directly or indirectly involved in this illegal act will be dealt with accordingly.
For guidance of the public.
