This is to inform the general public that the Philippine Statistics Authority — PhilSys Registry Office will be initially implementing the Civil Registration Service Basic Online Authentication Application of the Philippine Identification (PhilID) at the Civil Registry System Central Outlet, East Avenue, Quezon City on 26 April 2023.

The authentication tool will be used to verify the identity of the claimant requesting civil registry documents via a secured network connection to perform an automated and real-time matching process of the PhilSys Card Number and Biometric/Demographic information. It aims to have high level of verification of identity to prevent fraudulent activity.
