The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) informs the public that the Office of the Civil Registrar General issued Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 2024-17 entitled “Additional Guidelines for Delayed Registration of Birth” dated 04 June 2024 to strengthen the process of delayed registration of birth and to preserve the integrity of the civil registry system in the country. The aforementioned issuance took effect on 12 June 2024 upon its publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the Philippines.

In this regard, the PSA directs strict compliance to MC No. 2024-17 dated 04 June 2024 for all local civil registry offices, and the general public.
