PRODUCTION

The January to March 2025 seasonally adjusted palay production was recorded at 4.99 million metric tons. This indicates an increase of 4.7 percent from the previous quarter’s seasonally adjusted production at 4.76 million metric tons. (Figure 1 and Table 1)

PRICE

The seasonally adjusted farmgate price of palay from January to March 2025 was observed at PhP 19.54 per kilogram. This represents a decrease of 8.1 percent from the PhP 21.26 per kilogram farmgate price recorded in October to December 2024. (Figure 2 and Table 2)
