All provinces and Highly Urbanized City (HUC) in SOCCSKSARGEN registered Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growths in 2023 from their levels in 2022. The province of Sultan Kudarat posted the fastest growth at 5.2 percent. This was followed by Cotabato and Sarangani with growths of 4.5 percent and 3.7 percent, respectively. The three economies posted growths higher than the regional GDP Growth of 3.5 percent. Likewise, South Cotabato and the City of General Santos registered growths of 2.6 percent and 2.4 percent, respectively. (Figure 1)

Among the provinces and HUC in SOCCSKSARGEN, South Cotabato had the biggest share to the economy of the region, accounting for 26.5 percent. The City of General Santos and the province of Cotabato followed with shares of 25.4 percent and 24.1 percent, respectively. (Figure 2)
