What happened?: The website you’re trying to access is protected against DDoS attacks. This process allows the system to prove that you’re a human, not a bot.

Why it happened?: The system is checking your browser activity behind the scene. It takes about a few seconds to process and if passed, you’ll be allowed access to the requested page/resource.

Nexusguard uses a mix of non-disruptive techniques to monitor user behavior in order to separate humans from bad bots. Once the preset threshold has been reached, authentication takes place. All this is done quietly in the background but the user will see the first page (low-level authentication) to keep him/her patient. However, users who have failed the initial browser activity check are then required to perform simple tasks. For those who have failed the first two validation tests, they are then challenged to a CAPTCHA test. Those who failed all tests are denied access to the requested page or resource.
