Cacao

  • For the period January to March 2022, cacao (dried beans with pulp) production grew to 2.38 thousand metric tons or an increase of 6.0 percent, from 2.25 thousand metric tons output in the same period of last year.
  • Davao Region remained as the major producer of cacao with 1.88 thousand metric tons output or 78.7 percent share to the country’s total cacao production for this quarter.
