Rubber (cuplump)

Rubber (cup lump) production for October to December 2022 dropped by 138.52 thousand metric tons or a decrease of -9.0 percent from its production of 152.20 thousand metric tons in the fourth quarter of previous year.
The top rubber-producing region during the period was SOCCSKSARGEN with 59.02 thousand metric tons output or 42.6 percent of the country’s total production. This was followed by Zamboanga Peninsula with 41.1 percent share.
For the period July to December 2022, the area planted with rubber was 239.58 thousand hectares, which was higher by 0.6 percent from the previous year’s same semester area of 238.19 thousand hectares.
