Seasonally Adjusted Consumer Price Index (2018=100): June 2024

- CPI of Food, Beverages and Tobacco (FBT): National Capital Region (NCR) and Areas Outside the National Capital Region (AONCR)
The seasonally adjusted CPI of FBT in NCR slightly went down to 149.3 in November from 149.4 in October. On the other hand, the seasonally adjusted CPI of FBT in AONCR increased to 154.2 in November from 153.9 last month.
Prices of FBT for NCR and AONCR were pushed down by the seasonal factors in November.
Seasonally adjusted month-on-month inflation of FBT items in NCR at -0.1 percent in November was the same rate posted in October. Meanwhile, in AONCR, seasonally adjusted FBT items increased to 0.2 percent this month from 0.1 percent this month.
- CPI of Non-FBT Items: National Capital Region (NCR) and Areas Outside the National Capital Region (AONCR)
The seasonally adjusted CPI of non-FBT items in NCR and AONCR respectively picked up to 178.3 and 176.7 in November from their corresponding October levels of 176.9 and 176.5. Prices of non-FBT items in NCR and AONCR were pushed down by the seasonal factors during the month.
The month-on-month inflation of the seasonally adjusted CPI for non-FBT items in NCR rose to 0.8 percent in November from 0.3 percent in October while that for AONCR, prices of non-FBT items moved at its October rate of 0.1 percent.
