2005 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) - Health and Social Work : Preliminary Results

The 2005 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry covered a total of 30,312 health and social work establishments nationwide. Of the total figure, 97.9 percent or 29,665 establishments had an average total employment (ATE) of less than 20 while the remaining 2.1 percent or 647 establishments had ATE of 20 or more.

The number of establishments in private education service activities reached 11,275 in 2005. Establishments with an average total employment (ATE) of less than 20 dominated the sector with 8,698 establishments or 77.1 percent of the total. The remaining 2,577 establishments or 22.9 percent had an average total employment of 20 and over. (See Tables 1 to 3.)

The 2005 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry covered a total of 42,681 establishments engaged in real estate, renting and business activities. About 40,593 or 95.1 percent of the total figure were establishments with average total employment (ATE) of less than 20 while 2,088 or 4.9 percent were establishments with ATE of 20 or more.

The 2005 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry covered a total of 16,756 Financial Intermediation establishments. Of the total figure, 15,980 establishments or 95.4 percent had an average total employment (ATE) of less than 20. The remaining 776 establishments or 4.6 percent had an average total employment of 20 or more.

2005 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (ASPBI) - Transport, Storage and Communications : Preliminary Results

The transport, storage and communications sector covered an estimated total number of 9,539 establishments in the entire country, according to the results of the 2005 Annual Survey of Philippine Business and Industry. About 86.8 percent (8,283 establishments) of these had an average total employment (ATE) of less than 20 employees while establishments with an average total employment (ATE) of 20 or more accounted for 13.2 percent (1,256 establishments).
