More than a thousand local civil registrars, solemnizing officers, members of the academic community, statisticians, and other stakeholders take part in 1NCCRVS video conferencing

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) successfully gathered city and municipal civil registrars including officials and employees of the local government units, solemnizing officers, members of the academic community, statisticians, Consuls and Vice Consuls from Philippine Foreign Service Posts, mission representatives from Inter-Agency Committees, both at the national and sub-national levels, among others, to the 1st National Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (1NCCRVS) held virtually from 01 to 03 September 2021.

PSA Signs MOA with the Provincial Government of Aklan for the Birth Registration Project

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Provincial Government of Aklan in preparation for the Birth Registration Project intended for the marginalized communities in the province. This project is in line with the efforts of PSA to further intensify the campaign to improve civil registration, consistent with the goals of the Civil Registration and Vital Statistics Decade (CRVS) for 2015 to 2024.
