The annual increase of CMWPI in NCR slowed down further to 9.1 percent in February 2023.

The year-on year increase of CMWPI in NCR slowed down further to 10.3 percent in December 2022.

The CMWPI in NCR rose further at an annual rate of 11.0 percent in October 2022. Its annual growth in September 2022 was posted at 10.5 percent and in October 2021 at 4.7 percent. (Tables A and 2) The increase was primarily brought about by the double-digit annual increase in the index for G.I. sheet at 16.6 percent, from 12.7 percent in September 2022. Annual increments were also higher in the indices of the following commodity groups in October 2022:
