Population of Zambales (excluding Olongapo City) increased at the rate of 2.11 percent annually

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Zambales, excluding Olongapo City, posted a total population of 534,443 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 100,901 persons compared to its total population of 433,542 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 2.11 percent. This is higher than the 1.61 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (2010 CPH), the province of Aurora posted a total population of 201,233 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 27,436 persons compared to its total population of 173,797 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.48 percent. This is lower than the 2.22 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), Angeles City, a highly urbanized city in the province of Pampanga, posted a total population of 326,336 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 58,548 persons compared to its total population of 267,788 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 2.00 percent. This is higher than the 1.24 percent annual PGR of the city between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the City of Isabela, a component city in Region IX whose province, Basilan, is under the jurisdication of ARMM, posted a total population of 97,857 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 24,825 persons compared to its total population of 73,032 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 2.97 percent. This is higher than the 2.07 percent annual PGR of the city between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Zamboanga Sibugay Reached more than Half a Million (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Zamboanga Sibugay posted a total population of 584,685 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 87,446 persons compared to its total population of 497,239 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.63 percent. This is lower than the 2.02 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.
