Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Compostela Valley posted a total population of 687,195 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 106,951 persons compared to its total population of 580,244 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.71 percent. This is lower than the 2.21 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Romblon Doubles in 50 Years (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Romblon posted a total population of 283,930 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 19,573 persons compared to its total population of 264,357 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 0.72 percent. This is lower than the 1.51 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Puerto Princesa City Reached 223 Thousand (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), Puerto Princesa City, a highly urbanized city in the province of Palawan, posted a total population of 222,673 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 60,761 persons compared to its total population of 161,912 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 3.24 percent. This is lower than the 5.79 percent annual PGR of the city between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Palawan's Population Increased by 180 Thousand (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Palawan, excluding Puerto Princesa City posted a total population of 771,667 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 178,167 persons compared to its total population of 593,500 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 2.66 percent. This is lower than the 3.13 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Oriental Mindoro Increased by 100 Thousand (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Oriental Mindoro posted a total population of 785,602 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 103,784 persons copared to its total population of 681,818 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.43 percent. This is lower than the 2.17 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.
