Population of Camarines Norte Reached more than Half a Million (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Camarines Norte posted a total population of 542,915 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 72,261 persons compared to its total population of 470,654 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.44 percent. This is lower than the 1.87 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Albay's Average Household Size Decreased to 4.8 Persons (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Albay posted a total population of 1,233,432 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 142,525 persons compared to its total population of 1,090,907 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average population growth rate (PGR) of 1.23 percent. This is lower than the 1.90 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Rizal had Increased by 800 Thousand (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Rizal posted a total population of 2,484,840 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 777,622 persons compared to its total population of 1,707,218 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 3.82 percent. This is lower than the 5.73 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Laguna's Population reached 2.7 Million (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Laguna posted a total population of 2,669,847 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 703,975 persons compared to its total population of 1,965,872 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 3.11 percent. This is lower than the 3.67 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.
