Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Misamis Occidental posted a total population of 567,642 persons as of May 1,2010. This is larger by 80,919 persons compared to its total population of 486,723 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.55 percent. This is hihger than the 1.38 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Iligan City was Recorded at 323 Thousand (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), Iligan City, a highly urbanized city in the province of Lanao del Norte, posted a total population of 322,821 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 37,760 persons compared to its total population of 285,061 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 1.25 percent. This is lower than the 2.32 percent annual PGR of the city between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Population of Lanao del Norte Would Double in 28 Years (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Lanao del Norte, excluding Iligan City, posted a total population of 607,917 persons as of May 1, 2010. This is larger by 134,855 persons compared to its total population of 473,062 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 2.54 percent. This is higher than the 2.01 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000

This is larger by 9,575 persons compard to its total population of 74,232 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. This is lower than the 1.45 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.

Bukidnon Posted 1.3 Million Population in Latest Census (Results from the 2010 Census of Population and Housing)

Based on the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH), the province of Bukidnon posted a total population of 1,299,192 persons as of May 1,2010. This is larger by 238,777 persons compared to its total population of 1,060,415 persons counted in the 2000 CPH. The increase in the population count from 2000 to 2010 translated to an average annual population growth rate (PGR) of 2.05 percent. This is lower than the 2.31 percent annual PGR of the province between the census years 1990 and 2000.
