Value of Production in Agriculture and Fisheries Declined by -0.6 Percent in the Second Quarter of 2022

In the second quarter of 2022, the value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices decreased by -0.6 percent. Increases in the value of production in livestock and poultry were noted during the period. On the other hand, value of production in crops and fisheries dropped. (Table 2a and Figure 1)

Value of Production in Agriculture and Fisheries Contracted by -0.3 Percent in the First Quarter of 2022

The value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices contracted by -0.3 percent in the first quarter of 2022. Poultry registered expansion during the period while crops, livestock, and fisheries posted declines in the value of production. (Table 2a and Figure 1)

Value of Production in Agriculture and Fisheries Increased by 0.6 Percent in the Fourth Quarter of 2021

In the fourth quarter of 2021, value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices increased by 0.6 percent. This was attributed to the production increments in crops, poultry, and fisheries. On the other hand, livestock recorded drop in production. (Table 2a and Figure 1)

Value of Production in Agriculture and Fisheries Decreased by -2.6 Percent in the Third Quarter of 2021

The value of production in agriculture and fisheries at constant 2018 prices decreased by -2.6 percent in the third quarter of 2021. This was due to the drop in crops, livestock, and fisheries production. Meanwhile, poultry recorded increment in production. (Table 2a and Figure 1)
