The total rice inventory as of 01 March 2019 was 2,221.42 thousand metric tons. This was 30.87 percent higher than the 1,697.37 thousand metric tons level in March 2018. Similarly, the stock inventory for this month was 3.75 percent above the previous month’s level of 2,141.23 thousand metric tons.
The total rice stocks inventory as of 01 January 2019 was 2,550.70 thousand metric tons, lesser by 6.23 percent compared with the preceding month's inventory level of 2,720.28 thousand metric tons (Figure 1). In contrast, an increase of 11.40 percent from the previous year's inventory level of 2,289.65 thousand metric tons was noted.
As of 01 February 2019, the total rice stocks inventory was 2,141.23 thousand metric tons. This was 16.05 percent lower compared with the previous month’s inventory level of 2,550.70 thousand metric tons. On the other hand, the stock inventory for this month was higher by 19.24 percent compared with the previous year’s inventory level of 1,795.78 thousand metric tons.
As of 01 December 2018, the total rice stocks inventory was 2,718.48 thousand metric tons (Figure 1). This was lower by 9.49 percent compared with previous month’s inventory level of 3,003.37 thousand metric tons. Comparably, a decrease of 4.59 percent was recorded in previous year’s inventory of 2,849.37 thousand metric tons.
As of 01 August 2018, the total rice stocks inventory was estimated at 1,520.76 thousand metric tons (Figure 1). The volume of stocks was 25.01 percent below the previous year's level of 2,028.00 thousand metric tons. This was 23.61 percent lower than last month's inventory level.of 1,990.82 thousand metric tons.
