The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is duty bound to maintain the absolute confidentiality of information pursuant to Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the "Data Privacy Act of 2012"

Thus, in view of the personal and sensitive personal information contained in the administrative petition for correction of clerical error under Republic Act No. 9048, as amended, civil registry documents, and other supporting documents attached to the petition for correction, and to further strictly ensure that all follow-up concerns will be recorded and acted upon accordingly with the use of an official platform, all request for status update and other related concerns regarding the administrative petition for correction to the PSA Legal Service - RA Unit shall be coursed through this email address: ralegalservice@psa.gov.ph.

The City/Municipal Civil Registrars, Philippine Foreign Service Posts Officials and Staff, and all concerned are strictly advised to refer their respective follow up concerns through the above official communication in order to prevent any violation of the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
