DESIGNATING NSCB AS THE REPOSITORY OF THE LIST OF ESTABLISHMENTS PREPARED BY NSO

WHEREAS, a listing of establishments is being conducted by the National Statistics Office (NSO) prior to a census of establishments;

WHEREAS, said list is being updated every year to form the frame for other annual and intercensal surveys of establishments;

WHEREAS, a joint undertaking among agencies such as NSO, Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Labor and Employment and NSCB for the establishment and maintenance of a frame for small and large establishments at the NSO is being envisioned to provide interested parties with a common list of establishments which could be used as a sampling frame for establishment surveys;

WHEREAS, the NSCB is the central statistical coordinating agency of the Philippine Statistical System to which all agencies and individuals can relate and access;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) shall be the repository of this list of establishments prepared by NSO and such information as name, address, type of ownership and nature of the business of each establishment shall be released by the NSCB to interested parties.
