PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO
FIFTEEN (15) STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the NSCB Board issued Resolution No. 1, s. 1988, for the provision of financial and technical assistance in the initiation and programming of statistical development projects/activities;
WHEREAS, fifty-one (51) project proposals were received and screened by the Technical Staff following identified evaluation criteria;
WHEREAS, sixteen (16) projects have been recommended by the Technical Staff for funding in CY 1988 based on the amounts available in the NSCB budget and in accordance with a prioritization scheme;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the granting of financial assistance to the following statistical development projects:

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the granting of financial assistance to the Statistical/Econometric Model for the DTI Critical Performance Areas of Exports and Investments Project shall be deferred pending the recommendation of the pertinent Inter-Agency Committee concerned with the study of exports and imports.
