PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS FOR CY 1990

WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) continues to provide technical and financial assistance to agencies in the implementation of statistical development projects per NSCB Resolution No. 1, s. 1988;

WHEREAS, the NSCB budget for CY 1990 includes an amount of P3.0 million to cover grants-in-aid for the implementation of new and on-going statistical development projects;

WHEREAS, based on the evaluation of the year-end reports of the projects approved and implemented under the program in 1989, 11 projects have been scheduled and recommended for continuation;

WHEREAS, out of the new project proposals received and screened by the Technical Staff, only 18 new projects have been recommended for funding in CY 1990 in accordance with the criteria and prioritization scheme adopted by the NSCB Secretariat;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the granting of financial assistance to the following statistical development projects:
