ADDITION OF A DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT TO THE LIST OF RESOURCE PERSONS

WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), created by virtue of Executive Order No. 121, is hereby recognized as the highest policy-making and coordinating body of the Philippine Statistical System;

WHEREAS, the Board issued Resolution No. 12-88 wherein a core group of resource persons were allowed to participate in the deliberations during Board meetings and which was composed of the following:

Deputy Director General
National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA)

Assistant Secretary General, NSCB

Deputy Administrator, National Statistics Office (NSO)

Director, Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS)

Director, Bureau of Labor and Employment Statistics (BLES)

Director, NEDA

Director, SPRMO, NSCB

Director, ESSO, NSCB

WHEREAS, despite the extensive contribution given by the abovecited resource persons in the field of statistics, there arose a need to supplement this core group in order for it to effectively serve the needs of the Board;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that a Director of the Department of Budget and Management to be designated by the Vice-Chairman of the Board be added to the list of resource persons who are not members of the Board but who possesses the needed expertise and experience not only in the field of statistics but in other related fields as well.
