Commending the National Statistics Office (NSO), All Other Government Departments, Agencies and Instrumentalities, Both National and Local, and the Private Sector for the Successful Conduct and Completion of the Nineteen Ninety (1990) Census of Population

COMMENDING THE NATIONAL STATISTICS OFFICE (NSO), ALL OTHER GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS, AGENCIES AND INSTRUMENTALITIES,
BOTH NATIONAL AND LOCAL, AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT AND COMPLETION
OF THE NINETEEN NINETY (1990) CENSUS OF POPULATION AND HOUSING AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the Nineteen Ninety (1990) Census of Population and Housing (CPH) had just been successfully conducted and completed;

WHEREAS, the NSO as the lead agency, its administrator, officers, employees and staff, as well as all the other departments, agencies and instrumentalities of the government, both national and local, and the private sector who actively participated and/or supported the 1990 CPH, deserve a commendation for a job well done;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that:

The NSCB, as the highest policy making and coordinating body on statistical matters, wishes to congratulate, convey and express its deepest gratitude and appreciation to NSO, most especially to Administrator TOMAS P. AFRICA, and all the other officers, employees and staff of NSO from the national down to the local levels, for the successful conduct and immediate release of the preliminary count of the 1990 Census of Population and Housing.

The Board also wishes to commend the other departments, agencies and instrumentalities of the government, both at the national and local levels, including the private sector for actively participating and supporting the 1990 Census of Population and Housing.
