PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS FOR CY 1991
WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) continues to provide technical and financial assistance to agencies in the implementation of statistical development projects per NSCB Resolution No. 1 (s. 1988);
WHEREAS, the NSCB budget for CY 1991 includes an amount of P3 million to cover grants-in-aid for the implementation of new and on-going statistical development projects;
WHEREAS, based on the evaluation of the year-end reports of the projects approved and implemented under the program in 1990, three (3) projects have been recommended for continuation in 1991;
WHEREAS, out of the new project proposals received and screened by the Technical Staff, sixteen (16) new projects have been recommended for funding in CY 1991 in accordance with the criteria and prioritization scheme adopted by the NSCB Secretariat;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the granting of financial assistance to the following statistical development projects:
