GUIDELINES FOR THE DEPUTATION OF GOVERNMENT PERSONNEL IN THE CONDUCT OF SURVEYS AND CENSUSES

WHEREAS, some government agencies need to undertake surveys or censuses to generate statistics required in development planning and policy-formulation;

WHEREAS, some of the agencies concerned do not have enough manpower and/or technical expertise needed to efficiently conduct such surveys or censuses;

WHEREAS, the existing economy measures of the government do not allow the hiring of additional manpower;

WHEREAS, the National Statistical Coordination Board has the mandate to promote and maintain an efficient statistical system in the government;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Technical Staff of the NSCB be authorized to deputize government personnel in the conduct of surveys and censuses under the attached implementing guidelines.
