APPROVING THE PHILIPPINE STATISTICAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR 1993-1998

WHEREAS, the Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP) is an instrument for the integration and coordination of statistical activities in response to the development thrusts of the government;

WHEREAS, per NSCB Resolution No. 9, series of 1992, the Board has approved the thrusts and strategies for the Philippine Statistical System as a basis for the formulation of programs for 1993-1998;

WHEREAS, the PSDP for 1993-1998 was formulated by the NSCB Technical Staff with the assistance of the PSDP Advisory Committee and twenty-two (22) PSDP Sectoral Task Forces, the members of which come from various government and non-government organizations, in accordance with the approved thrusts and strategies;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP) for 1993-1998 as submitted and presented by the Technical Staff.

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the approved Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP), 1993-1998, be endorsed to the President for issuance of a Proclamation approving and adopting the PSDP 1993-1998 enjoining compliance and cooperation among the various agencies.
