ENDORSING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT THE REALIGNMENT OF THE 1995 POPCEN BUDGET

WHEREAS, Congress appropriated a national budget for the conduct of the 1995 Mid-decade Census of Population (1995 POPCEN);

WHEREAS, in accordance with the budgetary plans submitted by the National Statistics Office (NSO), the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has approved the allotment therefor;

WHEREAS, there is a compelling need to realign the 1995 POPCEN budget to cope with the changes necessitated by the 1995 POPCEN, as follows:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board endorse to the Department of Budget and Management the realignment of the 1995 POPCEN budget in accordance with the recommendation of the NSO.
