ENJOINING AGENCIES TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE NSO IN UNDERTAKING THE 1995 POPCEN

WHEREAS, a Mid-Decade Census of Population, the 1995 POPCEN, will be conducted in September 1995;

WHEREAS, Section 5 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 72 (An Act Providing for the Taking of an Integrated Census Every 10 Years Beginning in 1980), provides that the “National Census Coordinating Board (NCCB) may call upon any instrumentality of the government for any assistance in the performance of their duties;”

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board enjoin all agencies enumerated in Annex 1 hereof to provide assistance to the NSO in undertaking the 1995 POPCEN.

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that such assistance shall include, but not be limited to those identified in said annex and shall be on a cost-sharing basis as maybe deemed appropriate by parties concerned.
