APPROVING THE TERMS OF REFERENCE OF THE PROVINCIAL, CITY AND MUNICIPAL CENSUS COORDINATING COUNCILS

WHEREAS, a Mid-Decade Census of Population, the 1995 POPCEN, will be conducted in September 1995;

WHEREAS, Section 5 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 72 (An Act Providing for the Taking of an Integrated Census Every 10 Years Beginning in 1980), provides that the “National Census Coordinating Board (NCCB) may call upon any instrumentality of the government for any assistance in the performance of their duties;”

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board approve the terms of reference of the provincial, city and municipal census coordinating councils, which define among others, the composition, duties and responsibilities and frequency of meetings, hereby marked Annex 2 and made part of the Minutes.
